He holds a BA LLB from the University of Cape Town and was admitted as an attorney in 1990. After serving as a director at a prominent Cape Town law firm, he established Deon Perold & Associates in 1993 with the aim of creating a boutique yet formidable legal practice.
Over the course of his career, Deon has advised high-profile local and multinational clients on complex litigation matters, corporate restructuring, capital raising, and intricate commercial transactions.
